Eastern State Penitentiary is a major tourist attraction for Fairmount, especially in the fall. Starting in October this huge historical penitentiary is transformed into an interactive haunted house. The Eastern State Penitentiary is a perfect Halloween activity and it is conveniently located on Fairmount Ave right across from plenty of hip bars and restaurants.

Franklin Hall is located off of Frankfort Avenue in Fishtown. This beer-garden is opened year-round and is fully equip with corn hole, ping-pong, picnic tables, & fire pits. They also have a great beer-list with about 9 beers on tap and a walk-up concession stand where you can grab a burger, bratwurst, or soft pretzel.

Rittenhouse square is one of the more popular small parks in Center City Philadelphia and a great place to admire the fall foliage. Located within close vicinity to many shops & restaurants, Rittenhouse square is a great place to take a stroll on your way to other Center City attractions.

Fall is the perfect time to visit Franklin Square, located between Center City East & Old City. Take a walk through the park, stop and play some mini golf, or take a ride on the carousel. Later on in the year Franklin Square will be converted into a winter wonderland light show.
